Fs-laser processing for new optical properties in glass fiber
The FiberLab group focuses on developing, optimizing, and processing of tailored fiber optical sensors for specific applications by using femtosecond laser technology for creating new material properties.
New sensor functions in laser-processed bulk materials
In transparent dielectric bulk materials (for example silica, oxide ceramics, or polymers) 3D-dimensional waveguide structures for light with arbitrary diameter can be processed with femtosecond laser pulses.
