The group “Free-Space Optical Systems” (FSO) offers expertise and solutions for wireless high-speed point-to-point links. Our laser-based systems cover terrestrial and space applications. Considered links are eye-safe, tap-proof and do not require any spectrum license. Data rates are higher than 10 Gbit/s. Techniques for mitigation of atmospheric perturbations provide high link reliability and availability.
