Signal Processing and Sensing

The Signal Processing and Sensing (SPS) group specializes in signal processing for radio communications and sensing, sidelink communication, and the development of end-to-end testbeds based on software-defined radio (SDR). The main research focus is currently on integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), where we employ a range of tools to tackle various tasks, including beamforming, waveform design, detection, target parameter estimation, etc., with an emphasis on low computational complexity and energy efficiency. Another significant aspect of our work is the development of SDR-based research platforms and end-to-end demonstrators to enable practical validation of research outcomes, bridging the gap from theory to practice.
