Once a year, representatives of the relevant industrial companies as well as of universities and research institutes active in the field of optical communications technology meet in workshops for an intensive exchange of experience. These workshops are organized alternately by the members of the Expert Group and offer a forum for the discussion of current issues in optical transmission technology. The lecture blocks offer young scientists in particular the opportunity to present their current research results and discuss them with experts from industry and academia.

The workshop will be held in German and under 2G+ regulations. The lectures will be held in English.
