Photonics is one of the most exciting and innovative areas of applied research. Hybrid integrated photonic devices form the basis for dynamically growing application fields in telecommunications, sensor technology, environmental analytics, diagnostics and quantum technology.

We are pleased to give you an insight into the working world of photonics and its entry opportunities. Thus, we invited various companies to present themselves and their job realities. In addition, our colleagues from numerous departments will report on their daily experiences: from students to laboratory staff to scientific employees, you can familiarize yourself with the entire spectrum of photonics at Fraunhofer HHI.

Finally, we will take you into the lab and show you what it is like to work with photonic components. Afterwards, our partner companies and experts will be available for further questions and discussions.
