Topic: The goal of  this project is the development of technologies for simplified and more efficient communication within an aircraft’s cabin considering the economic and qualitative constraints of modern aircrafts. To achieve this goal, wireless communication systems show a high potential as they not only contribute to a significant weight loss but also reduce the complexity of upgrading and maintaining a communication network.

Simplified Cabin - Wireless Cabin Management Systems

During the project methods and concepts for the realization of a robust, wireless infrastructure for aircraft cabins should be developed. Therefore, different wireless communication systems and their wireless channels will be analyzed with respect to a potential application in aircrafts.
