Buket Torun

Buket Torun holds an M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from The University of Bologna (UNIBO), Bologna, Italy and a B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Istanbul, Turkey. She joined the Multimedia Communications Group in the Video Coding and Analytics Department as a research associate and has been a member of the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) since July 2023. 

Currently, she is actively involved in and making contributions to the 3GPP RAN2 5G standardization activities in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for NR air interface.
