Wojciech Samek, Head of Machine Learning Group at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI, has joined the Editorial Board of the world’s first multidisciplinary Open Access journal PLOS ONE.
The PLOS ONE Editorial Board is supported by more than 6,000 scientific experts. The board consists of scientists who are established group leaders with extensive publication records. The employees are committed to ensuring that PLOS ONE provides free access to scientific research. Together with fellow Editorial Board Members and internal staff, Academic Editors uphold journal policies and ethics standards and work to promote the PLOS ONE mission to provide free public access to scientific research.
PLOS ONE's broad scope provides a platform for publishing primary research, including interdisciplinary and replication studies. PLOS ONE features reports of original research from the natural sciences, medical research, engineering, as well as the related social sciences and humanities that will contribute to the base of scientific knowledge. By not excluding research on the basis of subject area, PLOS ONE facilitates the discovery of connections between research whether within or between disciplines.
